The video quickly went viral and created a global movement. 6-Year-Old Inspires Movement to Feed 120,000 (See original story)

GIG highlighted San Francisco pre-schooler, Phoebe, who self-initiated an aluminum can drive to feed the hungry. Her handwritten letters and personal requests surpassed her goal to raise $1,000 - she raised more than $4,000 for the local food back.

After GIG featured her efforts, she received a total of $18,000. Additionally GIG submitted her creative effort in the Tyson food challenge and they will be donating 35,000 lbs. of food. READ MORE…

GIG Helps Reverend Build School in Haiti (See original story)

GIG highlighted New Jersey Reverend Alerte's mission to build a Jr. High School in his hometown of Grande-Saline, Haiti. He was moved to begin his project after cries from locals for education in this impoverished town. He raised $28,000, but needed $47,000 to reach his fundraising goal.

A band teacher in San Jose, Calif. saw the story and was inspired to challenge students to use their musical talents to give back. Voila -- more than 100 students orchestrated a concert and all of the proceeds will be donated to Alerte's cause. READ MORE…
